Responsibilities

• Actively manage department output with an emphasis on employee engagement, training and development, and continuous improvement to achieve organizational goals.
• Supervise personnel and production activities within casting functions.
• Plan and coordinate production output and support schedules to meet customer requirements and company commitments.
• Effectively utilize team members, materials, equipment, and other company resources within the assigned area.
• Maintain work procedures and employee safety programs.
• Maintain a safe working environment and safety records.
• Coordinate daily production on the shift and collaborate with peers across all shifts.
• Manage daily production during the shift.
• Act strategically to meet production demands, solve issues, and implement improvements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Qualifications

• 3 or more years of casting operations knowledge preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in difficult and stressful situations.
• Two-way communicator who actively listens to team members, leaders, business partners, and customers.
• Highly committed to continuous improvement, applying innovative solutions with a customer-first mindset.
• Create and maintain a culture of safety while applying and implementing workplace policies.
• Administer the collective bargaining agreement (CBA) consistently and effectively.
• Value different opinions and remain open to ideas and perspectives from others.
