INGENYX- Stranding-Bunching Operator 2- 2ND SHIFT

About the role
Machine Operators tend and set up stranding/bunching machines according to customer specification and SMI/SOM standards. This is a multi-operator position training in respool/bunching/tinsel. The shift will be variable. Assist manufacturing and engineering to identify improvement opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Operates and adjusts machine/equipment to SOP as trained.
- Follows shop packet instructions to set up machinery to manufacture products to customer specifications and apply required labeling.
- Understands and uses measuring equipment, calipers, micrometers, rulers, Instrom, scales, counters, and other gauging following prescribed procedures to meet high-quality specifications.
- Documents process data and parameters as required by GMP.
- Identifies when process is out of spec and recognizes when to notify quality.
- Reviews process documentation, makes corrections, and signs off on production orders.
- Follows QA procedures and requirements.
- Brazes fine wire to perfection.
- Follows safety procedures, including use of required personal protective equipment.
- Establishes objectives to develop and execute projects, consistent with corporate objectives.
- Successfully completes all required training and demonstrates an understanding of our products.
- Adheres to and ensures the adherence of the Ingenyx Code of Ethics, and all Company policies, rules, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
- Moves spools with correct handling procedures consistently and regularly.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is strongly preferred.
- Basic math (addition, subtraction, and division) and assembly skills.
- Good interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to read and write English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Computer skills (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work as part of an effective team.
- Must be able to distinguish color and have good vision for inspection purposes.

- The employee is regularly required to stand and use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- The employee frequently is required to walk and reach with hands and arms.
- The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch; and talk or hear.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 500 pounds with the aid of material handling devices.
- Specific vision abilities required include color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud; hearing protection is required in designated areas. Safety glasses and safety shoes are also required.
