Ingénieur sécurité senior

For our client, we are seeking a Ingénieur sécurité senior to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This senior security engineering role will help shape and strengthen the company's security posture across core systems and cloud environments. The position will partner closely with engineering teams to build security into day-to-day workflows while driving practical controls, detections, and response capabilities. It also contributes to governance and compliance efforts and supports a strong culture of security awareness and technical rigor. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $170,000 – $230,000 annually Responsibilities Design and drive security solutions across various domains Conduct threat modeling for existing systems and new initiatives Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security into workflows Create and automate security alerts, detections, and observability Participate in incident response and lead initiatives during on-call shifts Support governance and compliance efforts, including SOC 2 and ISO 27001 Mentor engineers and share security best practices within the organization Qualifications 5+ years in security engineering or a related technical field Strong technical skills in security disciplines Hands-on experience with AI tools and automation Practical experience in cloud environments, preferably AWS Experience with incident response and on-call rotations Excellent communication skills and strong technical judgment Benefits Employee stock options as part of total compensation Quarterly performance and salary evaluations Access to medical and dental coverage, including wellness accounts Remote work flexibility within Canada Annual budget of $2,000 for professional development courses 20 vacation days with a $1,000 bonus for taking them all Parental leave with 100% salary for 18 weeks Quarterly team-building gatherings Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
