About the role

Serves as a consultive resource to medical professionals and answers inquiries on drug therapy and drug products.

Responsibilities

• Verifies and enters orders accurately to ensure timely accessibility of drugs, adherence to policy and overall patient safety.
• Supervises and assigns duties to Pharmacy Technicians and other non-pharmacist personnel to ensure smooth department function and throughput.
• Contributes to the development, maintenance and management of medication related guidelines.

Requirements

• State Pharmacist license within 3 months of hire date.
