IVX Health is seeking an NP to provide high-quality, specialized infusion therapy in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, delivering on-site and virtual supervision while administering infusions and injections with precision.
  • Conduct patient assessments, performing evaluations, documenting SOAP notes, and monitoring treatment responses.
  • Educate and support patients, guiding them through treatment expectations, potential side effects, and disease management.
  • Ensure compliance and quality by maintaining accurate records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, reviewing nursing documentation, and upholding HIPAA and OSHA standards.
  • Optimize clinical workflows by assisting with chart preparation and treatment planning to streamline patient visits.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams, working closely with referring providers and cross-functional teams to enhance care coordination.
  • Support operations and training by assisting in inventory management, prior authorizations, and regulatory adherence.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support patient care and organizational objectives.

Requirements

  • Active and unrestricted licenses: Nurse Practitioner (NP) license and Registered Nurse (RN) license (if required by the state).
  • Board certification: AANP or ANCC certification required.
  • Life support certifications: BLS certification required; PALS certification preferred.
  • Clinical experience: Background in an ambulatory infusion center, outpatient specialty clinic, or similar setting is a plus.
  • Ability to treat a diverse patient population: Must be able to care for both adults and pediatrics—Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) preferred.
  • Strong IV and infusion therapy skills: Experience with specialty biologics, medication management, and emergency response protocols.
  • Proficiency in clinical documentation: Experience with EHR systems and a strong understanding of HIPAA and regulatory compliance.
  • Exceptional communication & collaboration: Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
  • Skills: Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
