IVX Health is seeking an NP to provide high-quality, specialized infusion therapy in an outpatient setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, delivering on-site and virtual supervision while administering infusions and injections with precision.
- Conduct patient assessments, performing evaluations, documenting SOAP notes, and monitoring treatment responses.
- Educate and support patients, guiding them through treatment expectations, potential side effects, and disease management.
- Ensure compliance and quality by maintaining accurate records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, reviewing nursing documentation, and upholding HIPAA and OSHA standards.
- Optimize clinical workflows by assisting with chart preparation and treatment planning to streamline patient visits.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams, working closely with referring providers and cross-functional teams to enhance care coordination.
- Support operations and training by assisting in inventory management, prior authorizations, and regulatory adherence.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support patient care and organizational objectives.
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted licenses: Nurse Practitioner (NP) license and Registered Nurse (RN) license (if required by the state).
- Board Certification: AANP or ANCC certification required.
- Life Support Certifications: BLS certification required; PALS certification preferred.
- Clinical Experience: Background in an ambulatory infusion center, outpatient specialty clinic, or similar setting is a plus.
- Ability to treat a diverse patient population: Must be able to care for both adults and pediatrics—Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) preferred.
- Strong IV and infusion therapy skills: Experience with specialty biologics, medication management, and emergency response protocols.
- Proficiency in clinical documentation: Experience with EHR systems and a strong understanding of HIPAA and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional communication & collaboration: Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
- Skills: Strong clinical judgment, excellent interpersonal skills, and proficiency in electronic health record systems.
