Infusion Nurse

Location: Hoover, AL | Part-time, mobile position

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and initiate/monitor IV infusions.
• Perform IV insertion and manage venous access.
• Administer IV medications and fluids.
• Monitor and respond to infusion-related reactions.
• Educate patients on treatments and aftercare.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Coordinate with physicians and nurse practitioners.
• Maintain supplies and infusion equipment.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Alabama RN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Required infusion experience.
• Strong IV insertion and venous access skills.
• Home infusion or outpatient infusion experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
