About the role
The Infusion Care Specialist serves as a dedicated clinical and operational partner for members receiving infusion therapies. This role supports members, providers, infusion centers, specialty pharmacies, and health plans by facilitating benefit navigation, treatment coordination, member education, and timely access to medically necessary infusion services. The Infusion Care Specialist helps remove barriers to care while ensuring a positive member experience throughout the infusion treatment journey.
Responsibilities
- Manage an active caseload of members receiving infusion therapies across oncology, immunology, gastroenterology, neurology, rheumatology, and other specialty care disciplines.
- Conduct intake assessments to identify member needs, treatment barriers, and care coordination opportunities within the LPN scope of practice.
