Infrastructure Technician
About the role
SABG is hiring an Infrastructure Technician to support Civil Engineer and Acquisition Support Services at Hurlburt Field, FL. Travel: On-site. No travel outside the perimeter of Hurlburt Field is expected. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on repair, maintenance, and construction work in support of DoD and commercial facility systems at Hurlburt Field.
- Support either the Engineering Flight (CEN) or the Operations Flight (CEO).
- Execute tasks within your designated track (HVAC/R, Water/Wastewater, or Structures) in accordance with applicable codes and work orders.
- Communicate regularly with project supervisors and engineering staff to coordinate work sequencing and flag technical concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and escalate issues that require engineering review or supervisory input.
Requirements
- At least ten (10) years of hands-on experience as a DoD or commercial trades technician performing repair, maintenance, or construction work within your applicable specialty (HVAC/R, Water/Wastewater, or Structures).
- Proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and database (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Qualifications
- Education and Experience: At least ten (10) years of hands-on experience as a DoD or commercial trades technician performing repair, maintenance, or construction work within your applicable specialty (HVAC/R, Water/Wastewater, or Structures).
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and database (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
