Primary Position Responsibilities
- Support LANs, VPN, users, applications, internet, and intranet systems.
- Maintain system efficiency & performance not limited to, network facilities, servers, workstations, printers, phones, VPN, email & intrusion detection systems and all technology related items.
- Maintain & monitor network and systems to ensure security.
- Analyze and isolate issues.
- Setup new team members, identify user needs and troubleshoot problems reported.
- Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, software deployment, security updates and patches.
- Documentation and inventory of all IT systems.
- Aids in the implementation of new operating systems, servers, hardware deployments and upgrades not limited to new system migrations and or existing system upgrades.
- Participates in disaster preparedness plan preparation and deployment.
- Maintains an IT request tracking system that allows users to submit requests and receive communication on status and completion of request.
- Timely communication with status of task and IT items to Leadership.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree
- 3+ years of relevant network system experience
- Experience using Microsoft Windows Server, HyperV, VMWare Active Directory, Office 365 and Cisco and Microsoft Azure
- Ability to multi-task and complete assignments within agreed upon time frame
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot end user issues remotely
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a member of cross-functional teams, supporting colleagues and contributing actively to shared goals
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Familiarity with SQL Server, Microsoft Dynamics
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
Position Summary
The Information Technology Network Administrator will ensure the availability and functionality of all information technology systems including hardware (servers, PCs, VMware / Hyper-V, printers/scanners, and conferencing), communication (phone system, internet, middleware), and applications (Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, and cloud-based apps).
In this role, the IT Network Administrator will work closely with other IT team members and interact with all departments supporting various operational initiatives. This role requires a highly resourceful individual with emotional intelligence, self-motivation and integrity. A composed demeanor, excellent communication skills, and the ability to follow through are a must.
