About The Role

We believe in the value of advanced technologies and strive to build meaningful applications of next-generation hardware and software to impact real-world needs. As such, we are looking for an Infrastructure Supply Chain Manager who has strong relevant experience to source and manage supply chain operations for colocation, equipment, and facilities in this field while having the analytical mindset, creativity, and vision to tackle the challenges in the present and future for DoorDash Labs.

This is a highly visible role where the Infrastructure Supply Chain Manager is expected to work hands-on with cross-functional teams to build sourcing strategies and drive towards commercial success for the entire organization.

The Infrastructure Supply Chain Manager will report to the Director of Hardware and Manufacturing Strategic Sourcing on our Sourcing team in our Autonomy organization.

Responsibilities

  • Source and manage supply chain operations for colocation, equipment, and facilities for robots (and people)
  • Build sourcing strategies to manage total cost of ownership and foster a culture of vision and foresight to lay the foundation needed today for future success
  • Dive deep into issues, breakdown problems, and drive the team towards results
  • Create spreadsheet models to track supply and spend for effective supply chain management and budgeting and forecasts
  • Work hands-on and support a world-class team of engineers and business leaders

Requirements

  • 7+ years of procurement experience in colocation, facilities, consumer electronics, automotive, robotics, autonomy, and or AI projects
  • MBA and/or JD with significant experience in writing and negotiating contract agreements with vendors in the colocation, facilities, consumer electronics, automotive, robotics, autonomy, and/or AI space
  • Strong communication and presentations skills to lead and organize efforts
  • Sharp attention to detail and believe no task is too big or too small

Pay

The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future. In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants.
