About the role

Lead IT-driven change efforts; participate in and/or lead activities to achieve LEADS project tasks and meet deadlines. Work with NSS, architects, and IT Managers to design network architecture for agency applications. Assist business units in the analysis of solution designs. Work with vendors, other specialists, and agencies to solve integration problems. Answer questions and present formal mentorship opportunities to peers and/or lower-level staff via conversation, observation, or technical documentation.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications (one of the following options):

• Option 1: 60 months of combined work experience in any combination of the following: evaluating current IT policies, procedures, and practices; recommending and/or leading IT-driven change efforts; participating and/or leading activities to achieve project tasks/meet deadlines; performing solutions design. This must include 12 months of work experience in Network Hardware (Router/Switch, WAN).
• Option 2: Completion of an associate core program in computer science or information systems and 42 months of combined work experience in the areas listed above, including 12 months of work experience in Network Hardware (Router/Switch, WAN).
• Option 3: Completion of an undergraduate core program in computer science or information systems and 36 months of combined work experience in the areas listed above, including 12 months of work experience in Network Hardware (Router/Switch, WAN).
• Or equivalent of the minimum class qualifications noted above.

Only applicants with experience in the required primary technology (Network Hardware (Router/Switch, WAN)) will be considered.
