About the role
Our client, a leader in cloud and data center infrastructure, is seeking a skilled Sourcing Specialist for a 6-month contract engagement starting ASAP. This role involves supporting infrastructure sourcing across compute and network equipment, colocation, space and power services, and connectivity, coordinating commercial execution to support capacity expansion and deployment timelines.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
- Serving as the embedded sourcing partner to business teams, clarifying purchase needs and driving assigned requests through commercial review, contracting, and approval readiness.
- Supporting colocation and connectivity agreements, including space/power services, fiber interconnections, cross-connects, and onsite technical support.
- Reconciling monthly recurring charges, one-time installation charges, metered-power estimates, and total contract commitments; ensuring amendments reference the correct PO and reflect agreed service dates.
- Cooking compute and network equipment purchases, ensuring quotes capture the agreed configuration, licenses, support, delivery terms, and deployment services.
- Reviewing business requirements, supplier selection, competitive quotes, pricing benchmarks, and total cost for assigned low-complexity purchases.
- Cooking contracts, amendments, and SOWs through approved templates and Ironclad/CLM workflows.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years in procurement coordination, sourcing support, purchasing operations, AP/finance ops, or supply chain support.
- Experience supporting data-center, colocation, telecom/network, or compute-hardware procurement, and assessing recurring-service pricing, capacity commitments, and deployment dependencies.
- Practical sourcing skills: clarify requirements, compare supplier proposals and pricing benchmarks, assess total cost, and document recommendations.
- Understanding of contract and SOW fundamentals, including deliverables, acceptance criteria, service levels, payment schedules, and change control.
- Experience with procurement systems (Zip, Oracle, NetSuite, SAP, Coupa, Ariba, etc.).
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment.
- W2 only (No C2C or 1099 contractors).
