About the role

The main function of this position is to structure and execute transactions across product groups as part of the Infrastructure Finance North America team. You will actively participate with senior colleagues in the origination, due diligence, and structuring of transactions within the infrastructure asset class, adhering to the Bank’s credit and business guidelines. Responsibilities include following market trends, collecting marketing intelligence, proposing new opportunities, supporting execution efforts, and cross-selling products to enhance returns for the Bank.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of project finance and structured finance transactions in North America with oversight from senior colleagues.
  • Partner with product groups to enhance return through cross-sell opportunities.
  • Present transactions internally, prepare credit applications, manage the credit process with the Credit Department, perform due diligence, and negotiate documentation.
  • Continuously monitor and manage existing transactions and relationships, including processing waivers, amendments, and internal reports.
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop new business opportunities and strengthen market position.
  • Understand external regulatory matters and internal compliance policies; escalate operational risk events as necessary.
  • Delegate and review work of junior team members, providing guidance and feedback.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and seminars to stay updated on trends and expand client networks.
  • Originate new transactions by preparing pitch books, marketing materials, and attending client meetings.
  • Present research and analytics supporting new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • 7 years of experience in the finance industry, with relevant experience in a project finance team.
  • Hands-on experience with financial modeling, due diligence, negotiating term sheets, finance documentation, and mitigating credit risks.
  • Experience analyzing and negotiating documentation for financing and investments.
  • Securities licenses required: SIE, 79, and 63.
  • BA/BS degree.

Skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Bloomberg, with strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong writing and analytical skills.

Pay

The anticipated salary range for this role is $225,000. The specific salary offered will be based on individual qualifications, experience, and market analysis at the time of hire. The role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award.
