Infrastructure PM
About the role
This individual will function as a project manager, responsible for managing 15–20 concurrent infrastructure projects, with a strong emphasis on scheduling, coordination, and execution of physical network installations. This role requires a hands-on, delivery-focused Project Manager.
Responsibilities
- Manage scope, schedule, and delivery across multiple concurrent infrastructure projects.
- Cook up physical infrastructure installations, including routers and switches.
- Develop, maintain, and manage integrated project schedules using Microsoft Project.
- Own project execution from initiation through closure, ensuring on-time delivery, risk mitigation, and clear status reporting to leadership.
- Partner with IT delivery, facilities, and infrastructure teams.
- Provide executive-level status reporting and stakeholder communication.
- Anticipate dependencies, risks, and issues before they impact delivery.
- Operate with an ownership mindset, understanding how infrastructure delivery impacts business customers.
Requirements
- Five years of hands-on Project Management experience.
- Proven background as an Infrastructure Project Manager.
- Experience managing physical installs, including routers, switches, and network equipment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project (MSP) is required.
- Experience with Jira is preferred.
- Understanding of infrastructure environments such as networking, data centers, or facilities.
- PMP certification or Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) is required.
- Experience with Waterfall and Agile SDLC models.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Ability to work onsite in St. Louis or Denver 4 days per week.
Preferred Qualifications
- Military background is preferred.
- Experience supporting facilities-driven or large enterprise infrastructure programs.
- Exposure to network, server, or application maintenance environments.
