Infrastructure Engineer Lead
About the role
We’re a team of ex‑Google engineers who built Safe Browsing and reCAPTCHA. We’re tackling adversarial AI attacks by architecting a constellation of fast, cheap, high‑precision AI Agents that detect and stop emerging threats. You will build and scale the infrastructure that ingests rich data streams from partners, continuously scans the internet for new threats, and monitors billions of customer events in real time to extract high‑signal behavioral patterns. Beyond data ingestion, you’ll design and operate the AI infrastructure powering a distributed network of intelligent agents — building pipelines to fine‑tune models with fresh threat data, orchestrating GPU workloads across dynamic clusters, and implementing real‑time feedback loops that learn from the wild and continuously evolve.
Responsibilities
- Architect the foundation for a constellation of AI Agents for threat detection.
- Build and scale data ingestion infrastructure for partner streams, internet threat scanning, and real‑time customer event monitoring.
- Design and operate AI infrastructure: pipelines for model fine‑tuning with fresh threat data, GPU workload orchestration across dynamic clusters, and real‑time feedback loops.
- Ensure the system delivers high‑precision, low‑latency detection at internet scale.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience.
- Experience scaling AI infrastructure or MLOps.
- Experience building in fast‑paced environments.
- Bonus: Experience with security/detection systems.
- Bonus: Experience working in adversarial environments (trust & safety, security, fraud).
