Infrastructure Engineer - File Transfer Operations Support

The team is looking for a problem-solver who thrives in production environments, enjoys digging into issues before they escalate, and wants exposure to enterprise-grade file transfer, cloud security practices, and compliance workflows.

Responsibilities

• Supports production environments, including problem identification, ticket documentation, and customer/vendor interaction
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent technical aptitude with the ability to navigate multiple systems and tools simultaneously
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience logically analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving technology support issues
• Ability to generate and maintain operational documentation, policies, and procedures
• Familiarity with Agile development practices for testing, debugging, and documentation
• Experience with secure transfer protocols such as HTTPS, SSH, and SFTP, including validating secure connections
• Exposure to certificate management and encrypted data transfer workflows
• Experience with managed file transfer tools such as Axway SecureTransport, Connect:Direct/NDM, or SFTP platforms
• Foundational networking knowledge including TCP/IP, port testing, FTP/SFTP basics, and certificates
• Ability to clearly communicate technical issues through tickets, documentation, or project work
• Strong written documentation skills (incident summaries, operational notes, procedures)

Requirements

• 4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience (or equivalent through work, training, military, or education)
• 6+ months of experience supporting production environments
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred but not required
