Infrastructure Engineer
About the role
Amentum is seeking systems engineering professionals with related education and/or experience to support systems and software development in support of the Navy and Marine Corps at Dahlgren, VA and Quantico, VA. You will be part of our growing systems & software engineering team and contribute to our diverse skillsets across multiple contracts in support of our Centers of Excellence. We are looking for individuals to join our team atmosphere that are eager to make a difference by solving complex Digital Engineering challenges.
Responsibilities
- Provide Software and Software Infrastructure support to Navy Projects in an Agile environment.
- Perform trade studies to identify direction on infrastructure improvements.
- Leverage MBSE and IBM DOORS for the cataloging of information.
Requirements
- 0 to 3 years of experience with C, C++, and/or Assembly
- Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance
- US Citizenship is required to obtain Secret Clearance

Pay
Compensation Details: US: $80,000 to $120,000. The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and relevant laws.
Schedule
The degree of telecommuting availability varies with each position and customer. Schedule is predominantly a standard workday but at times flexibility may be required to support a surge effort or event. Some travel may be required.
