- Information Services:
- Efficiently deploy new hardware and upgrade existing systems.
- Provide consistent support for existing hardware systems within the data center.
- Proactively respond to support queries, manage incidents in the ticketing system, and document resolutions.
- Execute change requests within pre-defined timelines.
- Oversee equipment logistics, including shipping and receiving.
- Aid in managing hardware inventory.
- Participate in meetings related to both internal and customer-centric environments.
- Regularly update support procedures and process documentation as needed.
- Business Partnering:
- Act as a partner for IT with the user community and apply most effective use of IT technology to direct business thinking.
- Identify information technology solutions to support the business strategies across all business functions.
- Work with key functional peers to identify IT needs, gather requirements, assist in estimating project costs and schedules.
- Other Duties as Assigned.
Qualifications
- A combination of the listed skills and knowledge is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
- 5+ years of experience in network and server administration, hardware, and performance monitoring tools.
- Proven experience in hardware administration and resolution of related issues.
- Familiarity with deploying and managing servers and hardware is a must.
- Must be able to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experienced and knowledgeable of managing Azure Servers and Physical Servers.
- Knowledgeable of virtualization platforms (i.e. VMware).
- Strong problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
Other Factors
- Ability to travel up to 15%.
