Infrastructure Coordinator, OMEGA
About the role
The Ohio Mid-Eastern Governments Association (OMEGA) seeks an Infrastructure Coordinator to execute critical grant-writing, grant management, and community engagement activities across OMEGA’s 10-county service area. Reporting to the Executive Director, this role involves both infrastructure funding and community development initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage grant proposals for infrastructure projects
- Coordinate with community partners to secure funding for local infrastructure improvements
- Engage with stakeholders to promote community development initiatives
- Monitor and report on grant-funded projects
- Collaborate with OMEGA staff to ensure alignment with organizational goals
Requirements
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in city, urban, or rural planning; public or business administration; civil engineering; or a related field, with three years of relevant experience preferred
- Recent college and career center graduates are also encouraged to apply
- Early- to mid-level professional seeking opportunities in local planning and grant-writing
- Experience engaging in impactful local planning and grant-writing efforts supporting infrastructure and community development in mid-eastern Ohio and the Appalachian region
Qualifications
This role is ideal for an individual who can demonstrate strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to community development.
