About the role

You’ll provide daily site inspection reports to verify compliance with approved plans, specifications, and codes. You’ll coordinate in the field with clients/owners, consultants, contractors, designers, and regulatory agencies. You’ll monitor and document contractor resource utilization (labor, materials, and equipment) for field changes, time and material work, and assist with negotiation of basic field construction changes.

You’ll work alongside project managers, engineers, technologists, and strategists who blend real-world experience with digital innovation and AI to transform how capital projects are planned, managed, and executed. Together, you’ll help develop and deliver factories, grids, transit systems, and public infrastructure—smarter, safer, and more sustainably than ever before.

Responsibilities

  • Regularly attend and participate in construction meetings, safety meetings/updates, and project site coordination meetings
  • Verify equipment and materials installation
  • Measure and record pay quantities
  • Review the contractor's schedule
  • Coordinate 3rd-party special material testing inspections
  • Review and provide input on potential change order issues
  • Maintain project records including safety documentation
  • Manage project photographic records
  • Conduct verification of field surveys
  • Maintain a daily report of all work site activities
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • In lieu of a degree, at least 5 years of construction-related experience
  • Compliance with company vehicle policy or willingness to travel to various project areas as needed
  • Solid negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated skill in identifying, analyzing, and providing innovative solutions to problems, along with a high level of math aptitude
  • Ability to multi-task several priorities and possess solid time management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Work authorization in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship requirements

Pay

$30 - $35 an hour. Compensation varies based on factors including office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. The range provided applies to roles hired in select U.S. states as required by local law.
