Infra Delivery Install Technician, Infrastructure Delivery

About the role

Responsibilities

• Install and configure large enterprise equipment
• Install and maintain fiber and copper cabling
• Patch cabling between equipment
• Maintain proper safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation
• Follow well-established hardware installation procedures and break-fix activities
• Safely use material handling tools and equipment
• Travel to or commute to data center locations as needed
• Conduct behavioral interviews and hire candidates

Requirements

• 2+ years of data center, critical environment, computer hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment, or data center operations experience
• 2+ years of network cabling, fiber optics, and test equipment including VFL, power meter, and OTDR experience
• 1+ years of computer networking experience, or experience with network hardware: copper and optical fiber cabling, switches, routers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field (e.g., Computer Science, Network Engineering)
• Certification in a relevant field (CCENT - Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician, Network+, or CCNA - Cisco Certified Network Associate)
• Experience in a data center or other critical environment
• Work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays

Skills

Basic technical skills in data center operations, network cabling, and computer networking are essential. Experience with AWS infrastructure services is a plus.

Pay

Base salary range: $30.00 - $54.00 USD hourly
