About the role
The Information Technology Cybersecurity Co-Op/Intern program at Mosaic Company provides hands-on experience in cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance domains. Students will work on projects that include monitoring security alerts, supporting incident response, and participating in architecture and engineering tasks.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and incidents
- Support incident response activities and documentation
- Maintain and improve security tools and dashboards
- Evaluate and test security tools and technologies
- Audit secure configurations and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Contribute to automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code initiatives
- Support risk assessments and compliance audits
- Document policies, standards, and procedures
- Manage third-party risk evaluations
- Contribute to cybersecurity awareness activities
- Investigate insider risks and support threat intelligence
- Manage threat intelligence platforms and data feeds
- Support vulnerability management workflows
- Communicate with various organizational levels
- Participate in department meetings and project-specific meetings
Requirements
- Sophomore level or above pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or Machine Learning
- 2.75 GPA or higher
- 1-2 years of relevant experience (volunteering, work with student/school organizations, or internships)
- Previous internship or co-op experience preferred
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Full-time commitment while being a student
- Basic computer skills
- Teamwork experience
- Familiarity with an industrial environment
- Effective verbal communication skills

- Able to hear, with or without correction
