Information Technology Systems Enterprise Application Specialist (Police Department)

About the role

The purpose of this position is to maintain the landscaping and property in and around the City’s parks, facilities, and other landscaped areas. This is accomplished by providing care and maintenance of grass, plants, flowers and shrubs; providing irrigation for plant life; and assisting with special events.

Responsibilities

• Provides care and maintenance of grass, plants, trees, and right-of ways by mowing the grass; trimming with edger; picking up trash and debris; planting flowers; pruning trees and shrubs; cutting weeds; irrigating plant life; cleaning and painting benches and tables; ordering supplies and equipment; driving trucks and trailers; and cleaning up debris by picking up trash around the city.
• Affords assistance with special events by helping other departments with set-up process; moving barricades and cones into place.
• Performs irrigation of plant life by watering and spraying the grass, trees, plants, and flowers.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Six (6) months prior experience in grounds keeping or construction work.
• Prior experience with gas powered hand tools and manual tools desired.
• Valid Arizona Driver's License.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, six (6) months prior experience in grounds keeping or construction work, prior experience with gas powered hand tools and manual tools, and a valid Arizona Driver's License.

Supplemental Information
