Information Technology Support Temporary Assignments

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to server support, systems administration, and end-users for computer and networking problems.
• Identify and analyze software and network-related problems; recommend solutions.
• Assist users in maintaining their desktop computing environment.
• Troubleshoot web and email problems.
• Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software.
• Design and edit websites.

Duties may vary depending on departmental needs. Emergency Hire opportunities are limited to 130 calendar days of employment.

Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated computer troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
• Experience with various programming languages.
• Experience with HTML.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to interact comfortably and respectfully with all individuals in a diverse multicultural environment.
