About the role

This position reports to the SDI Development Manager and performs a wide range of object-oriented development and analytical responsibilities on various projects in support of the SDI applications. The Developer will work with customers to identify and define problems or issues, analyze and document business requirements, triage and develop new code as well as maintain existing code working through the System Development Life cycle. On projects, developer experiences range from assisting with Project Management tasks and managing schedules to facilitating meetings and presenting solutions in addition to their coding assignments.

Responsibilities

• Perform object-oriented development and analytical responsibilities on various projects in support of the SDI applications.
• Work with customers to identify and define problems or issues.
• Analyze and document business requirements.

• Assist with Project Management tasks and managing schedules.
• Facilitate meetings and present solutions in addition to coding assignments.

Pay and schedule

• Pay: $6,513.00 – $8,729.00 (Range A); $7,163.00 – $9,599.00 (Range B); $7,864.00 – $10,537.00 (Range C). New to State candidates hired at minimum of classification or alternate range when applicable.
• Schedule: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday.
• Effective July 1, 2025: Specific Bargaining Units and associated Excluded State employees are subject to a salary reduction between 2% – 4.62% in exchange for hours in the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) per month.
