Information Technology Site Support Technician (H)

About the Role

SSM Health is seeking an Information Technology Site Support Technician to provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting for end users. This role involves maintenance and support of computer and network hardware, infrastructure, and supported applications, including telecommunication systems.

Responsibilities

• Works under the guidance of the Senior Analyst Technical Support to provide support and participate in project activities.
• Handles facility IS duties, minor hardware/software configuration, and repairs.
• Installs, repairs, modifies, maintains, and provides technical support for applications, PC operating systems, PC hardware, printers, and related peripherals.
• Provides operational and administrative support, including testing, printing, report distribution, backups, and first-line support.
• Utilizes the service ticketing system to log reported issues, document resolution, and/or assign to the appropriate work group.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience.
• One year of customer service experience.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
• Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
• Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication; ability to hear alarms and malfunctioning machinery.
• Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
• Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting, and gripping.
• Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
• Rare climbing.
