About the role

Maintain and upgrade Cisco networks, including routers and switches.

Update and configure virus protection software and other programs to keep the networks secure.

Apply Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) fixes to switches and Software Test and Evaluation (STE) policies.

Responsibilities

• Designing and planning the network for Cisco NEXUS switches
• Experience with Firepower Device Manager and/or Firepower Management Center Platforms
• Configure Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service (RADIUS) for device administration on switches
• Proficiency with network monitoring and management tools (Cisco/Solarwinds)
