Information Technology Manager

About the role

The IT Manager at SV Microwave leads the technology function, ensuring infrastructure, systems, and data are reliable, secure, and ready for growth. Given the company's defense and aerospace clients, this role includes significant cybersecurity and compliance responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Manages technology infrastructure, ensuring availability, reliability, and scalability
• Hires, develops, and manages IT staff, setting expectations and facilitating growth
• Develops and maintains project plans and schedules aligned with business goals and operational priorities
• Oversees software and hardware system development, implementation, and upgrades
• Develops and implements technology policies and procedures
• Stays updated with technology advancements and recommends new technologies
• Ensures data security through backup and recovery procedures and cyber security tools
• Maintains documentation, communicates changes, and conducts employee training

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Effectively works with people at all organizational levels
• High integrity and personal responsibility
• Experience administering or supporting technologies such as Microsoft Windows, Firewalls, Microsoft Azure, Office 365, VMWare, NAS, VPN, DNS, TCP/IP, and the Microsoft .NET framework
