Your Competitive Edge Base salary range: $100,000 – $130,000, paid bi-weekly, commensurate with experience.This position is classified as FLSA Exempt. Where You Make Your Mark The Information Technology Manager leads Jet Access's internal IT function as a hands-on technical leader, driving Microsoft 365 administration, automation, and cybersecurity across the organization's Microsoft cloud environment. Balancing team leadership with deep technical ownership, this role supports approximately 380 Team Members across ten company locations, partnering with the Director of IT and Information Security and an external Managed Service Provider to keep technology reliable, secure, and continuously improving. Leadership, Management and Accountability Conduct annual performance reviews and quarterly performance discussions with the IT Support Technicians, providing clear, actionable feedback tied to role expectations Mentor and coach IT Support Technicians, knowing when to delegate technical work and when to personally take ownership of complex issues Manage the IT service desk, ensuring timely incident resolution, effective workload distribution, SLA performance, and continual process improvement Address disciplinary matters promptly and fairly, partnering with the Director of IT and Information Security and HR Team Members as needed Approve IT Support Technician vacation and PTO requests, balancing coverage needs across ten company locations Microsoft Cloud Administration and Security Administer Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Entra ID (Azure AD), SharePoint Online, Teams, and related Microsoft cloud services Manage the complete identity lifecycle, including user provisioning, licensing, mailbox administration, permissions, and conditional access policies Investigate and respond to phishing incidents, business email compromise, and other Microsoft cloud security events, including compliance searches and email protection Administer Azure resources supporting internal applications and automation, including Key Vault, app registrations, service principals, and secure authentication Administer SharePoint Online architecture, permissions, document libraries, and collaboration sites Automation, Business Systems, and Technical Leadership Design, develop, and maintain PowerShell scripts, Power Automate workflows, and Microsoft Graph integrations that improve operational efficiency Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, operational reporting, and integrations connecting Microsoft technologies with ERP, CRM, and other business systems Provide Tier 3 technical support and executive technology support for complex issues Evaluate and implement new technologies, including AI-powered productivity tools, while maintaining appropriate security and governance Partner with the company's Managed Service Provider to coordinate network infrastructure, cloud phone services, mobile device management, cybersecurity initiatives, and escalated technical issues Multi-Location Support and Resource Management Support approximately ten company locations primarily through remote administration, with occasional travel for major projects, equipment deployments, and complex technical issues Oversee IT asset management, workstation lifecycle planning, and hardware and software procurement across the organization Manage software licensing, vendor relationships, DNS and domain administration, and technical documentation Coordinate offsite staffing and technical support assignments to ensure appropriate IT coverage across all company locations Provide input to the Director of IT and Information Security on budget needs, equipment forecasting, and staffing as company growth increases demand for support Team Development and Continuous Improvement Foster a culture of exceptional customer service, continual learning, and operational excellence within the IT Support team Identify training opportunities that build the technical depth and independence of IT Support Technicians over time Encourage IT Support Technicians to take on greater responsibility as skills and confidence develop Communicate departmental needs, risks, and progress clearly to the Director of IT and Information Security Complete special projects and initiatives as needed, embracing opportunities to contribute to Jet Access's continued growth and success Who Thrives In This Seat The Skills You Carry In Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered Five or more years of progressively responsible IT infrastructure or systems administration experience, including experience leading or supervising technical support personnel Significant hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Azure Strong PowerShell scripting skills with a demonstrated record of automating business and administrative processes Experience with Power Automate, Microsoft Graph API, Power BI, and Microsoft cloud security technologies Experience integrating Microsoft technologies with ERP, CRM, and other SaaS platforms Strong troubleshooting, vendor management, documentation, and project management skills Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening Deep alignment with Jet Access core values and a demonstrated commitment to Team Member development What This Role Asks Of You Primary work location is Fishers, IN, with work performed largely through remote administration supporting company locations Occasional travel to company locations across the organization for major projects, equipment deployments, and complex technical issues Availability to respond to business-critical technical issues outside standard business hours as they arise Valid driver's license required for occasional travel between company locations Willingness to work alongside the company's Managed Service Provider and other outsourced technology partners as needed How You Engage A “player-coach” who enjoys hands-on technical work while leading and mentoring a small technical team Comfortable delivering direct feedback, including on performance and disciplinary matters, with fairness and respect Skilled at knowing when to delegate to IT Support Technicians, when to engage the Managed Service Provider, and when to personally take ownership of a complex problem A clear, professional communicator who coordinates effectively with vendors, executives, and Team Members across all experience levels A culture carrier who fosters exceptional customer service, continual learning, and operational excellence What The Days Look Like A blend of roughly 60-70% hands-on technical work and 30-40% management, planning, mentoring, vendor coordination, and project leadership Daily attention to the IT service desk, incident resolution, and workload distribution across the team Regular coordination with the company's Managed Service Provider on network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and escalated issues Level 10 Meeting and planning meeting attendance as required to represent IT priorities Occasional travel and after-hours availability for major projects, equipment deployments, or business-critical issues What Sets You Apart Relevant Microsoft certifications, such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert or related security certifications Experience working alongside Managed Service Providers or outsourced technology partners Experience evaluating and implementing AI-powered productivity tools in a business setting A track record of developing junior technical staff into more independent, capable contributors Experience supporting multi-location organizations of similar size and complexity Equal Opportunity Statement Jet Access Group and affiliated companies are an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion in our workplace.
