About the role

Doosan Digital Innovation America, LLC (DDIA) is the primary provider of managed IT services to Bobcat Company and other Doosan affiliates worldwide. Located in Bismarck, ND (Factory), the co‑op position is an eight‑month opportunity where you will act as the primary interface for end‑user computing services supported by the IT Department, working directly with End User Computing Analysts and customers to analyze and resolve computing and network device problems in real time.

Responsibilities

• Provide support services for all end‑user platforms, including desktop/laptop platforms, desktop image and standardization, security and malware protection packages, desktop policies, and mobile computing/PDA standardization.
• Repair PCs and peripheral equipment.
• Handle problems that first‑tier help desk support cannot resolve.
• May interact with network services, datacenter services, or application development to restore service or identify and correct the problem.
• Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure timely resolution, customer satisfaction, minimal downtime, and cost control.
• Simulate or recreate user problems to resolve operating difficulties.
• Recommend system modifications to reduce user problems.

Requirements

• Junior or senior standing pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) or Computer Science.
• 3.0 or higher GPA preferred.
• Ability to commit to the full eight‑month co‑op term.
• Experience Required: 0 >2 years

Skills

• Strong background with Windows‑based software troubleshooting (Windows XP+ and Windows Server 2008+).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of PC hardware and software.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
