IT Business Partners (ITBPs) are responsible for managing and strengthening relationships between A&M business units, Corporate Functions, and Corp IT. Their goal is to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and competitive advantage by leveraging existing technology tools or introducing new innovative solutions.
About the role
The IT Business Partner must demonstrate the following key work activities to achieve the position objective:
- Stakeholder Business Relationship Management: Develop personalized, value-added services, meet internal customers' needs, and manage or perform necessary follow-up items proactively.
- Technology Alignment: Ensure compliance with local/regional data sovereignty, cybersecurity, and privacy regulations while collaborating with Global Security and IT.
- Regional IT Demand Pipeline: Manage the pipeline, capture, prioritize, and communicate initiatives through structured intake and governance processes, ensuring transparency of costs, risks, and resource dependencies.
- Technology Solutions Delivery: Analyze the current technology environment, recommend and implement solutions, and provide innovative solutions using domain expertise and business intelligence.
- Project Execution: Participate in relevant project phases, set and manage stakeholder expectations, and contribute to prioritization and oversight for in-flight projects or major issues/challenges.
- Change Management: Assist in creating, implementing, and delivering change management strategies and plans to maximize user adoption and proficiency.
- Communication and Collaboration: Create business communications, share IT services knowledge, policies, risks, and contingency plans, and build relationships with stakeholders.
- Framework Development: Contribute to the development of the ITBP framework, journey map, and community of practice.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with various departments and groups to drive ongoing adoption and implementation of technology and identify opportunities for business process improvement.

Additionally, a strong ITBP must have:

Qualifications
- At least 5 years of direct experience in IT and/or business relationship/partnership roles.
- A bachelor's degree in a related field.
- A Business Relationship Management (BRMP) or Certified Business Relationship Management (CBRM) certification.
- Familiarity with AI-powered tools and solutions.
- Experience implementing and/or helping with the governance of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
- Knowledge and/or experience working with legal and governance teams.
- Experience working across culturally diverse teams, geographies, and languages.
Pay
The salary range is $120,000 - $145,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. A&M offers a discretionary bonus program based on individual and firm performance. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without the need for employment-based sponsorship now or in the future. A&M will not sponsor applicants for US work visa status for this role.
