Our ateliers in Irwindale and San Dimas are currently seeking an Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) Manager.
Job responsibilities
- Represents LVUSM IS&T in worldwide community (Central and other zones)
- Ensure LVUSM IS&T initiatives are in alignment with global strategic direction
- Key point of contact for business teams on IS&T issues
- Partner with Local and Central counterpart to define any new initiatives; act as an internal consultant by partnering with department heads and business key users to define project scope and requirements; propose for arbitration to the General Manager and IS&T Sr. Regional Manager
- Responsible for the overall support of Manufacturing applications and IT infrastructure
- Ensure timely and accurate updates of his/her LVUSM application and infrastructure scope landscape
- Contributor to the application and infrastructure management planning by incorporating user experiences and best practices to propose future enhancements
- Define and apply the security policy related to the applications and infrastructure in his/her scope
- Owns monitoring and production support of LVUSM Manufacturing applications and IT Infrastructure
- Responsible of creating and/or maintaining documentation for business-specific functionalities
- Create and maintain the overall project plan for new business project requests
- Work in conjunction with department heads and key users to define project scope and requirements
- Coverage/follow-up on project tasks across business users, IS&T and Central IS&T in France
- Participate in functional and integration testing
- Provide management status reporting, including communication to Executive Team and Central IS&T
- Prepare User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios with the business; organize and coordinate UAT to ensure all scenarios are conducted and results properly documented
- Co-manage resources with Solutions, Infrastructure management and Central/Zone counterparts
- Budget and Vendor Management IS&T Expenses and Project budgets are prepared, presented and followed in order to ensure committed expenses do not stick out of approved budgets in partnership with the IS&T Sr. Regional Manager
- Work with vendors to obtain appropriate level of capability if in-house expertise is missing
- Work with vendor when external resources are required to deploy or support
- Protecting the Brand (Security) Based on security audit performed, apply and promote good IS&T practices in LVSUM scope to encompass all security breach identified
- Team management and collaboration
- Manage the LVSUM IS&T Support team
- Meets regularly with team to gather work statuses, discusses work progress and obstacles, provides advice, guidance, encouragement and constructive feedback, establishes measurable individual and team objectives
- Collaborate closely with worldwide IS&T Teams, Americas Operation team and Business Teams to guarantee support operations
- Share &; communicate best practices & achievements through our Social Network portal
Qualifications
- 5 years of progressively increasing responsibilities in IS&T and Manufacturing
- Project management with proven experience in coordinating and leading major IT projects for industrial site, including IT room setup, budget management, cabling
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently and provide timely, accurate reports as required
- Capacity to manage multiple projects at regional and worldwide levels
- Comprehensive in Production Management, Supply Chain and Logistics, Quality, Controlling, Leather Goods Industry, Luxury Industry
- Proven ability to meet milestones and delivery dates
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to recognize, report on and effectively manage project priorities, issues and risks
- Ability to handle vendor relationship, review and monitor contract of external services and resources
- Knowledge of Manufacturing systems
- Experience in implementing or working on ERP (Manufacturing)
- Proven ability to engage effectively with executive-level management within both IS&T and business
- Good general skills in IT
- Good professional experience in an international context (collaboration with several other regions)

Pay
The appointed candidate will be offered a salary within the range of USD$120,000 - $160,000 annually, the opportunity for a bonus, plus a comprehensive benefits package (details below).
