Information Systems Security Specialist

About the role

Parsons is looking for an Info Systems Security Specialist to join our Federal Solutions team. This position supports software development activities, DevSecOps processes, and lab engineering responsibilities, including software configurations, hypervisor infrastructure management, networking, and test/evaluation enclave setup.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation of Risk Management Framework (RMF) 2.0 artifacts through software scans, diagram creation, and security assessment reviews of policy controls.
• Assist in obtaining Government certification for systems intended to operate on various network enclaves.
• Support software development activities and DevSecOps processes.
• Assist lab engineering responsibilities, including software configurations and installations, hypervisor infrastructure management, networking, configuration and teardown of network enclaves for test and evaluation, and support of lab infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with typically 2+ years of related professional experience.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Desired Skills

• Strong desire to learn.
• Experience with software scanning platforms.
• Security and Risk Management experience.

This position does not require a security clearance.

Pay

Salary Range: $63,600.00 - $111,300.00
