About the role

The Information Systems Security Specialist is responsible for ensuring the security of company data and systems. This includes conducting security assessments, implementing security protocols, and responding to security incidents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments
• Implement and maintain security policies and procedures
• Monitor system activity for potential security breaches
• Respond to security incidents and provide incident response support
• Train employees on security best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• At least 3 years of experience in information security
• Knowledge of common security tools and technologies
• Experience with incident response and forensics
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• CISSP certification preferred
• Experience with network security, encryption, and access control
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell
