Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) with Security Clearance

About the role

The Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) is responsible for ensuring that all systems and networks are secure and compliant with government regulations. This position requires a TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of security policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance.
• Develop and maintain security awareness training programs for employees.
• Respond to security incidents and breaches in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment on security practices and standards.

Requirements

• TS/SCI clearance with eligibility for SCI access.
• At least 5 years of experience in information security, with a focus on systems security.
• Experience with NIST 800 series guidelines and other relevant security frameworks.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• CISSP certification preferred.

Skills

• Knowledge of cybersecurity tools and technologies.

Pay

$92,213.33 - $125,146 per year
