Responsibilities
- Support cybersecurity engineering, RMF, and security compliance activities for USPACOM J6 enterprise environments.
- Assess security posture, track control implementation, and coordinate remediation with engineering and operations teams.
- Support RMF documentation, security control validation, POA&M management, and audit readiness activities.
- Partner with engineers and system owners to identify, communicate, and reduce cybersecurity risk.
- Collaborate with USPACOM J6 stakeholders, service components, mission partners, and GDIT team members to resolve technical challenges.
- Prepare clear technical documentation, briefings, status inputs, and recommendations for customer and internal leadership.
Requirements
Education: B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent years of experience (can substitute 5 years of experience in lieu of a degree)
Required Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience supporting the role, mission area, or equivalent DoW/enterprise IT environment (or 13+ years of experience without a degree)
Required Technical Skills: ISSO duties; RMF package support; security controls assessment; POA&M tracking; audit readiness; DoW cybersecurity policy.
Security Clearance Level: Active Top Secret.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Abilities: Strong communication, analytical problem-solving, technical writing, customer engagement, and ability to coordinate across engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and mission partner teams.
Preferred Skills: Experience supporting USPACOM, combatant command, service component, or joint/coalition mission environments. Experience working in government site environments and coordinating with military and civilian stakeholders. DoW 8570/8140-aligned cybersecurity certification or comparable professional certification.

Pay
The likely salary range for this position is $153,000 - $207,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
