About the role
The Cybersecurity Information System Security Manager (ISSM) serves as a principal advisor on all security matters related to information systems, providing daily support for Collateral, SCI, and SAP activities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee development, implementation, and evaluation of security policies aligned with RMF and JSIG guidelines.
- Advise on risk assessments, security testing methodologies, and authorization processes.
- Develop and maintain security programs, policies, and procedures, including incident response and configuration management.
- Conduct security assessments, manage documentation, and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Train personnel and coordinate system authorization and security posture evaluations.
- Perform ISSO duties if needed, and ensure proper hardware/media sanitization and recovery processes.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of related cybersecurity experience, preferably in ISSO or ISSM roles, with SAP experience desired.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with DoD 8570.01-M certifications within 6 months.
- Active TS clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI and willingness for CI polygraph.
- Knowledge of DoD, national, and agency security policies, and strong technical and security training skills.

Pay and Schedule
Onsite work in San Antonio, TX, with no travel required. Salary range is competitive based on experience and location.
