Information Security Specialist
Job Description
An opportunity is available for an Information Security Specialist to provide technical support for activities, processes, and tools for protecting technology-based information. This role involves reviewing, developing, testing, and implementing security plans, products, and control techniques. The specialist will also document security policies, support risk assessments, and respond to data security incidents.
- Assess and advise on Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM) controls for mobile applications to prevent data leakage, fraud, and unauthorized access.
- Enforce enterprise mobile security standards, including app isolation, data encryption, remote wipe capabilities, and risk-based conditional access.
- Conduct quarterly security configuration audits for UEM/MDM/Intune using PowerBI.
- Provide subject matter expert guidance to remediation teams and application owners on discovered vulnerabilities from Data Theorem.
- Support MDM by assessing convenience applications for corporate mobility devices and performing testing activities.
- Contribute to Data Theorem enhancements, such as improvements and asset tagging.
- Communicate complex mobile security issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Translate security scanner output into enterprise-ready guidance and reporting.
Experience
Demonstrated hands-on experience with Data Theorem, including interpretation of findings related to vulnerabilities, privacy exposure, and third-party SDK behavior.
Working knowledge of the OWASP Mobile Top 10 and its application to iOS and Android applications.
Experience operating in highly regulated environments, such as financial services.
Proven ability to frame mobile security findings in terms of risk, compensating controls, and audit defensibility.
Technical Skills
Deep understanding of mobile security concepts such as insecure local storage, insecure communications, authentication weaknesses, and cryptographic implementation issues.
Knowledge of reverse engineering and code tampering prevention.

This role is offered on a Hybrid Schedule (3 days onsite/2 days remote).
Pay
The pay range for this role is $45-50/hr.
