Information Security Intern

The Information Security Intern will report directly to the Co-Chief Information Security Officer (Co-CISO) and will assist by participating in all activities of the group, which cover Security Operations, Cloud Security, Privacy, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, and IT Risk Assessment. Job Responsibilities Providing support for Information Security related tools and systems including:Web Internet SecurityAccess controlDatabase administrative access managementLog Aggregation and security analyticsPassword Management (for systems and administrative accounts) Risk Management SoftwarePlanning and participation in disaster recovery testing events Planning of third-party penetration tests Assisting in the creation and maintenance of IT policies and procedures and to ensure that they are properly updated and contain the necessary controls to support the control agendaGathering and preparation of materials needed for executive presentations and reportsParticipation and gathering of information from company-wide personnel for enterprise risk assessment Supporting analysis and risk reporting of outside service providers and potential outside service providersDocumenting, reporting, and escalating any security, privacy, or Red Flags incidents as appropriatePromoting information security awareness to all employees Qualifications In pursuit of a bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Cyber or Information Security, Information Technology, Risk Management or related fieldHave an interest in pursuing a career in security or risk management The Bessemer Trust Internship Program Our summer internship program offers real world experience working side-by-side with experts from departments and offices across our firm. The hourly rate for this position ranges from $40.00 - $45.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this role. Application deadline is October 6th.
