Information Security Intern

About the role

We are looking for passionate and engaged Information Security Interns to join our team for the Summer of 2027. Responsibilities

• Contribute to strategic security projects and tasks to gain practical experience in the security landscape
• Partner closely with seasoned professionals on assigned projects
• Collaborate with team members to meet project goals and deadlines
• Perform other security-related tasks as needed to support the team
• Adopt a pro-active mindset to engage in Information Security developmental workshops and intern-led activities
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of documents such as spreadsheets that track, measure, and facilitate improvement of internal processes
• Review and assist in the implementation of security policy, standards, procedures, and guidelines
• Assist with ad hoc projects and initiatives that require analysis and a keen desire to learn various Information Security tools
• Support special projects and other tasks/duties as needed

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Interest and desire to learn about information security practices and technologies
• Basic understanding of information security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, firewalls, GRC platforms, etc.)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well both independently and within a team-oriented environment
• Attention to detail and ability to work with sensitive information
• Eagerness to learn and apply cybersecurity principles in a professional environment
• Microsoft Operating System concepts and system administration knowledge

Location

Ability to work on-site at either our corporate headquarters in Conshohocken, PA or in Carrollton, TX.
