What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Triage incoming alerts, prioritizing by impact and urgency
- Ensure effective client-facing and internal communications regarding security incidents
- Follow established incident response guidelines to detect and limit the effects of security events
- Escalate response efforts based on the severity of incidents
- Collaborate with team members to manage multiple tasks and alerts effectively
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and alerts simultaneously
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, including cross-functional teams
- Capability to make informed and timely decisions in high-pressure situations
- Familiarity with security tools such as EDR, MDR, and SIEM, as well as Windows and Microsoft 365 environments
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience with incident response and security event management
- Knowledge of email threat protection tools and concepts
- Previous experience in a security operations role or similar position
- Adaptability to new security challenges and industry trends
- Relevant certifications in information security (e.g., CISSP, CISM)
