Information Security Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and Respond to Threats: Proactively monitor systems for suspicious activity, analyze potential security incidents, and respond to threats in real time.
• Develop and Implement Security Measures: Work closely with IT and development teams to design and implement security protocols, encryption techniques, and firewall configurations.
• Conduct Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration Testing: Identify weaknesses before attackers do, and recommend improvements to keep defenses strong.
• Analyze Security Metrics and Generate Reports: Prepare detailed reports on incidents, breaches, and security trends, guiding cybersecurity strategy and informing future investments.
• Incident Response and Investigation: Lead investigations into security breaches or incidents, contain threats, and provide detailed post-incident analysis to limit damage and speed recovery.
• Stay Updated on Emerging Threats and Technologies: Keep abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, emerging attack vectors, and technologies to ensure the organization remains one step ahead of adversaries.
