Information Security Analyst (Analyst II) with Security Clearance

About the role

Serve as an on-site Information Security (INFOSEC) Analyst for a DoD client's security and program protection team, orchestrating protective measures to safeguard classified information from loss, compromise, or unauthorized disclosure. The team member will support implementation of the supported Agency's INFOSEC Program IAW DoD, MDA, and other non-DoD requirements.

Responsibilities

• Performing reviews of documents, e-mails, videos, and pictures for classification to ensure no classified information is released to the public.
• Aiding in the development and staffing of Agency Security Classification guides to validate proper format, identify horizontal classification issues, and evaluate security classification issues.
• Drafting response to Classification Challenges and Classification Determinations.
• Maintaining metrics for monthly and annual reports.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate of Science or Associate of Arts degree relevant to the Security/CI fields preferred
• Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) SPeD certified for Security preferred
• Experience: 3+ years working on missile defense-related or other DoD program / project
• Works to analyze and resolve problems
• Clearance: Secret to TS with SCI eligibility

Additional Qualifications

• Experience with DoD security procedures
• Experience with Microsoft Access
