Information Review and Release Analyst with Security Clearance

About the role

The Information Review and Release Analyst – Senior position at our Fort Meade, Maryland client supports a dynamic Intelligence Community office. This role is available full-time or part-time, with a minimum of 16 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly research the substance and overall context of select documents
• Conduct first-level review of classified information and make appropriate redactions-electronically and/or manually
• Evaluate cases using critical-thinking skills and utilize customer systems and tools to inform the review and release process
• Provide rationale for redactions using legally defined exemption codes
• Make recommendations for release of documents
• Record decisions in the appropriate system
• Research previous release decisions to ensure accuracy and consistency in recommendations
• Identify Other Government Agency (OGA) equities involved in the case and ensure they are prepared for referral or coordination

Requirements

• Prior experience providing first-level review of classified documents and making recommendations for redaction and/or release of information
• Significant historical knowledge of client policies related to information security and classification
• Familiarity with client, IC, and DoD policies and regulations related to information security and classification

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly on day one of employment
