Information Review and Release Analyst (Part-Time, 24 hours Per Week)

Our team is seeking a talented, part-time (24 hours per week) Information Review and Release Analyst in Herndon, VA. The Analyst will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing information to determine its releasability ensuring compliance with the customer's rules, regulations, and organizational policies. Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with Polygraph Key Responsibilities: Review and analyze various types of information (documents) - i.e. books, articles, academic papers, screenplays, and speeches, etc.Apply critical thinking skills - identify and redact national security equities from various documents in compliance with the customer's rules, regulations, and policiesPerform analytic research and analysis - exploit different customer databases and ascertain / upload the appropriate metadata to manuscript cases within the team's portal/toolCoordinate w/Stakeholders - coordinate with various stakeholders, including SMEs to gather and collect information and clarify any issues related to the release of information. This includes providing recommendations (i.e. alternate language to use while simultaneously maintaining the integrity of an author's narrative) to the government review board members for approvalCommunicate w/Customers - Build rapport and communicate with the requesters to meet reasonable deadlines and provide timely and accurate responsesRespond to phone calls and emails requesting assistance related to mission requirementsPerform Quality Control / Assurance Checks - Deliver high-quality products for our customers/requesters via implementing quality control/assurance measures Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of sixteen years of relevant experience. Experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.Expert in reviewing, analyzing, and redacting equities within documentation (both in electronic and hardcopy format)Demonstrated knowledge of our customer's rules, regulations, and policies in terms of the review and release processDemonstrated knowledge of our customer's databases and tools/systemsStrong communication and customer service skillsStrong attention to detail and coordination skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (I.e.
