Full-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule as appropriate. Must not repeat job title. Must not include Job ID etc. Must preserve all substantive info, remove boilerplate, navigation, legal, EEO, scam warning, duplicated lines, application instructions. Must include sections only when posting has real specific content. We need to parse the posting. Key info: Overview: Oak Ridge National Laboratory ... seeking an Information Management and Protection Specialist who will support the FUSION and FISSION ENERGY and SCIENCE DIRECTORATE at ORNL. This position will coordinate FFESD Operations activities related to Information Protection and Security, Information Management, Cyber Security, and Operational Communications. Major Duties/Responsibilities: list of many bullet points (starting with "Serve as the FFESD point of contact..." etc). We need to extract those as list items. Then there is a paragraph: "Ability to function well in a fast-paced research environment, set priorities to accomplish multiple tasks within deadlines, and adapt to ever changing needs." This appears after responsibilities but before Basic Qualifications? Actually after responsibilities list there is a line: "Ability to function well in a fast-paced research environment, set priorities to accomplish multiple tasks within deadlines, and adapt to ever changing needs." Then "Deliver ORNL’s mission by aligning behaviors, priorities, and interactions with our core values of Impact, Integrity, Teamwork, Safety, and Service. Promote equal opportunity by fostering a respectful workplace – in how we treat one another, work together, and measure success." This seems like more responsibilities or maybe part of "Responsibilities". We'll treat as part of responsibilities. Then "Basic Qualifications": A BS degree and 6+ years of relevant experience or an MS degree and 4+ year of relevant experience. Degree area should be in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Math or related IT discipline. Then "Preferred Qualifications": list: Excellent written and oral communication skills. Familiarity with ORNL Systems and Processes. Strong organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of people having a wide range of technical and scientific backgrounds. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Ability to function well in a fast-paced research environment, set priorities to accomplish multiple tasks within deadlines, and adapt to ever-changing needs. Existing Q or L clearance preferred but not required. Then "Special Requirement": Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a clearance from the Department of Energy. As such, this position is a Workplace Substance Abuse (WSAP) testing designated position. WSAP positions require passing a pre-placement drug test and participation in an ongoing random drug testing program. Relocation: Moving can be overwhelming and expensive. UT-Battelle offers a generous relocation package to ease the transition process. Domestic and international relocation assistance is available for certain positions. If invited to interview, be sure to ask your Recruiter (Talent Acquisition Partner) for details. Then "About ORNL": description of ORNL, benefits list, etc. Then "If you have difficulty using the online application system..." etc (application instructions) - we must remove. Then location: Oak Ridge, Tennessee and requires onsite presence. Hybrid/onsite working arrangement may be available... This is schedule info. Then "This position will remain open for a minimum of 5 days..." etc - remove. Then file types accepted etc - remove. Then EEO etc - remove. We need to include sections: About the role (maybe overview), Responsibilities (major duties), Requirements (maybe basic qualifications?), Qualifications (maybe preferred?), Skills (maybe from preferred?), Benefits (list of benefits), Pay (not mentioned), Schedule (mention hybrid/onsite arrangement). Pay not mentioned, so we should not include Pay section. We must not invent or summarize away detail. Must preserve all substantive info. So we need to include all details from overview, responsibilities, basic qualifications, preferred qualifications, special requirement (visa, clearance, WSAP, relocation), about ORNL (including benefits list), location/hybrid schedule. We must not include boilerplate like EEO, equal opportunity, application instructions, etc. We need to decide which headings to use: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We can map: - About the role: overview paragraph(s) describing role and directorate. - Responsibilities: the major duties/responsibilities list (including the ability to function... and deliver mission etc). Possibly also the "Ability to function..." line after responsibilities? We'll include all duties. - Requirements: maybe basic qualifications (BS/MS + experience, degree area). Could also include special requirement (clearance, WSAP, visa, relocation) but those are more like requirements. However we have a separate "Requirements" heading; we could put basic qualifications there. Or we could put "Requirements" for basic qualifications and "Qualifications" for preferred qualifications. Skills could be from preferred qualifications like communication, organizational, collaborative, independent work, etc. But we need to avoid duplication. Better: Use: - About the role: overview. - Responsibilities: list of duties. - Requirements: basic qualifications (education/experience, degree area, clearance requirement? Actually clearance is a requirement but also special requirement. Could include under Requirements.) - Qualifications: preferred qualifications (communication skills, familiarity with ORNL, organizational skills, collaborative ability, independent work, fast-paced environment, Q/L clearance preferred). - Skills: maybe we could extract specific skills from preferred qualifications: written and oral communication, organizational skills, collaborative ability, independent work, ability to prioritize, adaptability. But that overlaps with Qualifications. Perhaps we can treat Qualifications as preferred qualifications and Skills as a subset? But instructions: Use headings only when posting has real specific content. We could decide to not use Skills if content overlaps; but we could still include Skills with items like "Excellent written and oral communication skills", "Strong organizational skills", "Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively...", "Ability to work independently and meet deadlines", "Ability to function well in a fast-paced research environment...". However those are already in preferred qualifications. Might be duplication but still preserving info. The instruction: "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." So maybe better to combine preferred qualifications and skills into one section, maybe "Qualifications". But we have both headings available; we could use "Qualifications" for preferred qualifications and skip Skills. Or we could use "Skills" for the skill-based items and "Qualifications" for education/experience. Let's think. We have Basic Qualifications (education/experience) and Preferred Qualifications (skills/attributes). So we could map: - Requirements: Basic Qualifications. - Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications. - Skills: maybe not needed; we could omit Skills section. But the instruction says: "Use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." It's a list of examples, not mandatory to use all. So we can omit Skills if no distinct content. Thus we will have sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Benefits, Schedule. Check if Pay mentioned: none, so omit. Now we need to extract content. About the role: The overview paragraph(s). Let's capture: "Oak Ridge National Laboratory is the largest US Department of Energy science and energy laboratory, conducting basic and applied research to deliver transformative solutions to compelling problems in energy and security. We are seeking an Information Management and Protection Specialist who will support the FUSION and FISSION ENERGY and SCIENCE DIRECTORATE at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). This position will coordinate FFESD Operations activities related to Information Protection and Security, Information Management, Cyber Security, and Operational Communications." That's about the role. Responsibilities: list all duties from "Major Duties/Responsibilities" bullet points, plus the subsequent paragraphs about ability to function..., deliver ORNL’s mission..., promote equal opportunity... (though equal opportunity maybe boilerplate? It's about promoting equal opportunity; but it's part of responsibilities? It might be considered boilerplate EEO but it's about fostering respectful workplace; could be kept as it's part of role. However we need to remove EEO/equal-opportunity boilerplate. The line "Promote equal opportunity by fostering a respectful workplace – in how we treat one another, work together, and measure success." is similar to EEO statement. Might be considered boilerplate. Safer to remove it? The instruction: "Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate". So we should remove that line. Also "Deliver ORNL’s mission by aligning behaviors, priorities, and interactions with our core values of Impact, Integrity, Teamwork, Safety, and Service." This is not EEO; it's about core values; could be kept as part of responsibilities. Thus responsibilities list: - Serve as the FFESD point of contact for Cyber Security and Information Security through proactive engagement with staff across the directorate. - Serve as the Division Cyber Ambassador for FFESD and its divisions. - Assist the organization management in implementing the ORNL Cyber Security Program, self-assessments, and training. - Assist the organization's computer users, application owners, system owners, and facility managers in identifying and addressing computer security concerns. - Advise users and system administrators of current vulnerabilities and viruses, security patches, and virus protection software. - Ensure that risk assessments, sensitivity determinations, and protection plans are done and documented for all organizational systems requiring them (e.g., security plans, etc.). - Attend training programs and meetings pertaining to information protection efforts. - Maintain internal systems utilized for communicating safety, security, and operational information; Support the creation and maintenance of operational documents including procedures, forms, plans, and program description documents. Ensure procedures are technically adequate and written to a level of detail consistent with the qualifications and training of the expected users. - Develop and maintain FFESD Information Security Procedure and ensure it complies with ORNL policies and procedures. Coordinate its delivery to FFESD staff. - Coordinate FFESD information security assets to implement ORNL information protection requirements and FFESD needs. - Assist in the management of issues and off-normal events including participation in investigations, causal analysis, and corrective action development and implementation. - Maintain CUI POC role by reviewing and assisting staff in making CUI determinations, staying up to date on new and revised CUI requirements, communicating, performing reviews, and guiding FFESD staff. - Review and advise staff on EC procedures and coordinate with the ECCG when appropriate for risk evaluations. - Review, coordinate, and evaluate all FFESD IOSCs. Participate in the development and oversee any corrective action plan as a result of an IOSC. Advise staff of potential security risks to prevent IOSCs where applicable. - Ability to function well in a fast-paced research environment, set priorities to accomplish multiple tasks within deadlines, and adapt to ever changing needs. - Deliver ORNL’s mission by aligning behaviors, priorities, and interactions with our core values of Impact, Integrity, Teamwork, Safety, and Service. We should keep the ability to function line as a responsibility (makes sense). Also maybe we should include "Ability to function well in a fast-paced research environment..." from preferred qualifications as well but we can keep only once. Now Requirements (Basic Qualifications): - A BS degree and 6+ years of relevant experience or an MS degree and 4+ year of relevant experience. - Degree area should be in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Math or related IT discipline. Also maybe include clearance requirement? The special requirement includes clearance from DOE, WSAP testing, visa not available, relocation assistance. Those are requirements but could be placed under Requirements as well. However we have a separate "Qualifications" for preferred qualifications; we could put clearance etc under Requirements as they are mandatory. Let's include: - Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy clearance. - This position is a Workplace Substance Abuse (WSAP) testing designated position; requires passing a pre-placement drug
