About the role

Responsible for leading cybersecurity initiatives and ensuring agency compliance with security policies and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and plans.
• Conduct regular security assessments and risk evaluations.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security measures into new systems and applications.

• Respond to security incidents and ensure timely remediation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience in cybersecurity.
• CISSP certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience working in a government or federal environment is highly desirable.

Skills

• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and CIS.
• Experience with threat intelligence and incident response.
• Proficiency in cybersecurity tools and technologies.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance processes.
