Information Assurance Specialist - I
Responsibilities
Affirms security controls per NIST SP 800-53 and the Cybersecurity Framework.
Applies control implementation methodologies to the SA&SA process.
Supports continuous monitoring and ongoing authorization.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years network operations and information security experience.
- Assessing security controls based on cybersecurity principles (NIST SP 800-53, Cybersecurity Framework).
- In-depth understanding of NIST Security Controls and control implementation methodologies to the SA&SA process.
- Continuous monitoring/ongoing authorization.
- Meet DoDM 8140.03 IAT III/IAM II requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Meet DoDM 8140.03 IAT III/IAM II requirements.
Skills
- Certifications: CASP+, SecurityX, CISSP, CISA, CCNP Security, GCED, GCIH (IAT III)
- Certifications: SecurityX, CISSP, CAP/CGRC, CISM, GSLC, CCISO (IAM II)
