Responsibilities

Affirms security controls per NIST SP 800-53 and the Cybersecurity Framework.

Applies control implementation methodologies to the SA&SA process.

Supports continuous monitoring and ongoing authorization.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years network operations and information security experience.
  • Assessing security controls based on cybersecurity principles (NIST SP 800-53, Cybersecurity Framework).
  • In-depth understanding of NIST Security Controls and control implementation methodologies to the SA&SA process.
  • Continuous monitoring/ongoing authorization.
  • Meet DoDM 8140.03 IAT III/IAM II requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Meet DoDM 8140.03 IAT III/IAM II requirements.

Skills

  • Certifications: CASP+, SecurityX, CISSP, CISA, CCNP Security, GCED, GCIH (IAT III)
  • Certifications: SecurityX, CISSP, CAP/CGRC, CISM, GSLC, CCISO (IAM II)
