About the role

The Information Assurance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of the organization’s digital assets. This includes conducting vulnerability assessments, implementing security controls, and responding to security incidents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
• Implement and maintain security policies and procedures
• Respond to security incidents and breaches
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure system configurations
• Stay updated with the latest security threats and technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in information security
• CISSP certification preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

• Experience with network security, encryption, and data protection
• Knowledge of common security tools and frameworks
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
